NITRIC ACID is used in many industrial processes, including the purification of various metals such as steel and platinum, the production of different dyes used in the textile industry, and the production of explosives and fertilisers. AMMONIUM NITRATE is used in the production of explosives and granular and liquid fertiliser. LAN is used to produce NPK fertiliser blends and as a primary nitrogen source for top-dressing crops and pastures.

AMMONIUM NITRATE
Sasol Chemicals’ AMMONIUM NITRATE Solution has a concentration of 53.49%, 18.72% Nitrogen content, a pH under 1.0 for a 10% solution, and a density of 1.26 g/ml, optimum for fertilising applications.
LIMESTONE AMMONIUM NITRATE
LIMESTONE AMMONIUM NITRATE presents as grey granules with a slightly waxy smell when dry and ammoniacal when wet. It is primarily used in producing granular NPK fertiliser blends.
