Sasol's Fischer-Tropsch technology is the foundation for a range of technical functions in the polymer and rubber industries.
Sasolwax Fischer-Tropsch hard waxes are exceptional external lubricants in PVC & CPVC processing, leveraging their linear structure and low viscosity to enhance fusion time, reduce fusion torque, and improve stability time.
Sasol EnHance and ExtraFlow products are widely used in injection molding, blown & cast film, compounding, extrusion, fiber & tape, rubber extrusion, and expanded polystyrene applications to name a few.  These products contribute not only to the melting and flow behavior of the polymer compound but also elevate the surface quality of the final products.

Alumina Products

Plasticizers

Sasol’s Linplast product line of phthalate, trimelitate, and adipate plasticizers are based on our unique alcohols.  Automotive applications such as synthetic leather & trims benefit from the unique touch and feel properties of the flexible PVC compound imparted by Sasol’s plasticizers.   Our plasticizers are used in high temperature Wire & Cable jacketing & insulation, and many other flexible PVC applications.

Antistats

Sasol low mole ethoxylates act as an internal antistat in polymer compounds.
