Sasol Chemicals’ expertise extends across key industries, including fabric home care, industrial and institutional cleaning, personal care, health and wellness, and technical markets such as energy and construction. The product line includes caustic soda, essential for use in green bar soap, powder and liquid detergents, and pH control processes. The industrial chemicals division provides hydrochloric acid CP Grade, which applies to steel pickling, ore processing, neutralisation, and other industrial purposes. Furthermore, Sasol supplies calcium chloride, commonly utilised for de-icing roads, dust control on gravel paths, in the food industry, and as an absorbing agent in desiccants.
