Insights and strategic guidance

The Marketing and Sales (M&S) function at Sasol Chemicals covers all activities related to our customers. Our Marketing colleagues are responsible for understanding customer needs and matching these with our products’ value proposition. They work with market and customer analyses to identify market trends and opportunities for new products, choose the right marketing mix or improve customer experience. They are the link to R&D and colleagues in Planning to ensure the right product supply is available. In addition, they also set the market strategy to provide direction to all stakeholders.

Sales Engagement and Relationship Management

Our Sales colleagues work in lockstep with Marketing. They are Sasol Chemicals’ face to the customer and interact very closely with their accounts. It’s their responsibility to not only sell our products but also to maintain strong customer relationships. To reflect our customer-centric mindset and ensure deep expertise, our M&S function is organized by the main customer markets that we serve within our four Business Divisions: Advanced Materials; Base Chemicals; Essential Care Chemicals; and Performance Solutions.
