(JSE: SOL; NYSE: SSL), today announced the launch of CARINEX and LIVINEX, two brands that will expand Sasol’s offerings of sustainable products. CARINEX SL AND LIVINEX SL, both biosurfactants, are the first product offerings under these new brands.

It is an important milestone for our CARE-O-SENE programme: we have succeeded in producing our first catalyst “Catalyst One” on a semi-commercial scale in one of our facilities in South Africa. So far, we had only produced and tested it on a small scale in the laboratory and in pilot plants.
