KETONES
Sasol offers a variety of high-quality KETONES that has been produced via the Fischer-Tropsch process. These include acetone, MIBK and MEK.
MEDIUM WAX
Sasol MEDIUM WAXES are synthetic, high purity raw materials supplied to industry to formulate a variety of applications including candles, water-repellant surface treatment formulations, polishes and emulsions. Sasol also offers conventional paraffin wax (Alex wax) as a complementary product for use in the same formulations.
ISO-PARAFFINS
Sasol offers a range of hydrotreated mixtures of ISO-PARAFFINS and naphtenes with excellent solvency characteristics. Narrow boiling point cuts with different flash points are available where high performance is required.
WHITE SPIRITS
Sasol produced WHITE SPIRIT blends with customized boiling ranges containing mixtures of N-PARAFINS, ISO-PARAFFINS and aromatics. These are typically used in the production of SOLVENT-BASED paints, inks and varnishes.
