Sasol Chemicals and Holiferm Sign Agreement to Expand the Market for Biosurfactants
Sasol Chemicals, a business unit of Sasol Ltd. (JSE: SOL; NYSE: SSL) and Holiferm Limited announced today a partnership to jointly develop new biosurfactants and enable the broad commercialisation of sophorolipids.

Temperature reduction asphalt (Warm Mix) – In addition to the building sector and the heat transition, CO2 and energy savings also play a major role in road construction. The new specifications for asphalt paving, which will come into force in January 2026 and allow for a transition period until December 2026, focus in particular on reducing aerosols from the current level of 10 mg/m³ to 1.5 mg/m³ and are therefore binding for tenders and execution.
