WARM MIX ASPHALT ADDITIVES
While SASOBIT and SASOBIT LC are Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) Fischer Tropsch hard waxes (FTHW), SASOBIT REDUX is a blend of FTHW and petroleum based component. All are designed to mix and pave asphalt at lower – warm instead of hot – temperatures.
N-PARAFFINS
N-PARAFFINS are utilised for making chlorinated paraffins, commonly used as plasticizers.
C5+ ALCOHOLS
Sasol offers a variety of blends produced from alcohols, predominately with carbon numbers C5 – C6 (mixed isomers). These products are used in a variety of industrial processes.
